In 2019, the SEEA Conference will focus on the dynamic, interconnected roles played by policy, transportation and technology in the region’s energy future. As the paths of each of these disciplines overlap and merge, we anticipate new jobs (and categories of jobs), new businesses and the potential for robust economic growth across the Southeast. Synergies resulting from policy, transportation and technology also hold the promise of enhanced storm resilience; improved outcomes in low income programs and public health; and more vibrant, energy-efficient rural and urban communities.
