Today, the Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative (SECC) released its latest educational resource, the Inside the Smart Home FAQ, which provides consumers with up-to-date information on smart home technology and its energy-related applications.

The FAQ provides detailed, yet easy-to-understand answers to many of the top questions that consumers have today, including:

• What types of smart home devices are available?
• How do I know if smart home devices are compatible with one another?
• How can I use less energy with my smart home?
• What does my power company offer around the smart home?
