SUMMARY:Exploring Energy Affordability Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Affordability has moved from a background concern to the defining issue in the electricity provider-consumer relationship. During this one-hour webinar on Wednesday\, September 2 at 1 p.m. (ET)\, we will provide a comprehensive overview of the energy affordability landscape today. \nWe will first hear analysis from BlastPoint on the affordability pressure that electric utilities across the U.S. are currently facing. Then\, we will share findings from SECC’s new survey of over 4\,000 Americans on the affordability challenges they are facing and the strategies and tools that could help. \nFinally\, we will learn about what’s being implemented today by utilities\, regulators and other stakeholders to address rising energy costs\, starting with a new report from the NC Clean Energy Technology Center and ending with case studies from Uplight and their partner utilities.
