We’re excited to announce that a new case study – Engaging Consumers in Time-of-Use Rates – is now available for download on our website!
The case study analyzes Southern California Edison’s strategies to improve consumer understanding of time-of-use rates and to increase residential customer self-enrollment before the default transition to TOU rates starting in October 2020. SCE’s efforts include an online rate comparison tool and a rates awareness campaign that utilized digital media, social media, radio and out-of-home advertising.
The addition of the SCE case study makes a total of 26 case studies available in our archive on topics like EV education, online marketplaces and AMI deployments from a diverse set of electricity providers, including Direct Energy, AEP Ohio, NB Power, SMUD and ComEd.
