The Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative (SECC) is excited to release two new resources in the Questions to Ask to Become a Smarter Energy Consumer series that are designed to help consumers gain a better understanding of how they might benefit from air-source heat pumps.

Heat pumps provide an energy-efficient alternative to traditional HVAC systems, offering significant savings on energy bills, reducing environmental impact and improving home comfort. However, many consumers are unaware of this option when it’s time to replace their current HVAC system.

The new video helps consumers understand the basics of air-source heat pumps, including how they work, what benefits they can provide and what incentives may be available to assist with upfront costs. And the fact sheet helps prepare them to discuss heat pumps – including incentives and installation – with their electricity providers.
