We’re excited to announce that a new case study – Lowering Customers’ Energy Burdens with LED Lighting – is now available for download on our website!

The case study reviews Con Edison’s program to distribute energy-saving LED light bulbs to its lower-income customers via community food banks and a smartphone app for recipients of nutrition benefits. These efforts have helped Con Edison reach traditionally underserved communities that might be missed by typical energy efficiency outreach.

The addition of the Con Edison case study makes a total of 27 case studies available in our archive on topics like EV education, online marketplaces, time-of-use rate education and AMI deployments from a diverse group of electricity providers, including Direct Energy, AEP Ohio, NB Power, SMUD and SCE.
