Download a copy of the “Data Analytics: Unlocking the Consumer Benefits” report, which reveals residential energy consumers’ interests and attitudes regarding their energy data and provides recommendations for electric utilities and other stakeholders on how to utilize these findings to improve program design and maximize consumer engagement.
The research began with a consumer panel that revealed common concerns and questions consumers have about their energy data. SECC then conducted a nationwide survey of 1,698 respondents, which tested interest in three product concepts that rely heavily on data analytics and can potentially save consumers money on their energy bills: Replace & Save, Manage & Save and Shift & Save.
The report concludes with four recommendations on improving customer engagement in data analytics-driven programs and services for program designers, data analysts and marketers at electricity providers.
