In 2024, we produced two landmark research projects – “Understanding the SMB Landscape: New Needs and Concerns” and “Modern Energy Messaging: Transactions to Relationships” – in addition to the “2024 State of the Consumer” report.
We also continued the Smart Energy Snapshot Series with three short-form surveys – “Electric Vehicles: Exploring Consumers' Cost Concerns”, “Computing Consumer Interest in AI” and “Don’t Leave Us in the Dark: Engaging Spanish-Speaking Households”.
Within the Education & Outreach Committee, we continued our Questions to Ask to Become a Smart Energy Consumer series with resources on heat pumps, the energy bill, tips for renters and more. The committee also developed the annual paper based on the themes from the “2024 State of the Consumer” report.
