No-charge affiliate memberships are available to nonprofit organizations, academia, research labs and advocacy groups. AboutThe SGCC is a non-profit organization which aims to help educate the public and engage consumers on the benefits of the smart grid. We gather all stakeholders to listen, educate, and collaborate toward modernized electric systems in the United States and provide resources to help the public. Mission In a rapidly changing energy environment, industry leaders must urgently pool resources to gain knowledge of what consumers need and how to communicate with them by listening to their concerns. Board The Smart Grid Collaborative Board has 14 directors who represent industry, utilities and advocacy or consumer groups. Members The SGCC brings together commercial and utility groups along with advocacy groups to form an unique membership base. Frequently Asked Questions The Smart Grid Consumer Collaborative offers introductory answers to frequently asked questions about the SGCC, SGCC Membership and the Smart Grid industry.
BoardThe Smart Grid Collaborative Board has 13 directors who represent industry, utilities and advocacy or consumer groups. Each of the organization’s founding members has one designee on the board.
