We are excited to announce that we have started the process of electing four new members to our Board of Directors for terms starting later this fall at Smart Energy Exchange 2026 in Denver and continuing through fall of 2028.

SECC’s Board of Directors includes 22 professionals from utilities, technology companies and nonprofit organizations who help guide our strategic goals and advance our mission. For 2026, we are especially seeking nominations from utilities and consumer advocates.

If you are passionate about advancing the understanding of energy consumers and helping the industry better serve customers and communities, we encourage you to consider this opportunity. To submit a nomination or request more information, contact SECC’s President & CEO Nathan Shannon by Wednesday, August 28.

Following the deadline, a Nominating Committee comprised of SECC members will review all submissions. Elections will then be held in person during the Smart Energy Exchange in Denver on November 2-4. If you submit a nomination for yourself or another member, we strongly encourage you to attend the event.
