Members Meeting & Fall Workshop
As a membership-based nonprofit organization, the annual Members Meeting & Fall Workshop is a highlight of SECC’s calendar. The event shapes the work that we do, allows members to connect with one another and delivers cutting-edge consumer insights.
For 2025, Puget Sound Energy (PSE) has graciously offered to host our organization on October 14-15 at their headquarters in Bellevue, Washington, and we recently opened registration and posted the room block information for the InterContinental Seattle Bellevue.
In this month’s blog, we share three reasons why you should attend SECC’s 2025 Members Meeting & Fall Workshop at PSE:
1. Network with fellow members during the opening reception in Bellevue.
While networking has always been a cornerstone of the annual Members Meeting, for the first time ever, we are hosting an opening reception the night before the educational program begins. The opening reception will be held off site at a to-be-named location in Downtown Bellevue and will provide the chance to meet SECC’s Board of Directors and other members in attendance. Don’t forget to click the box for the evening reception in the registration form as pre-registration is required. More information about the reception location will be sent out later this summer.
2. Make your voice heard on SECC’s 2026 research and education initiatives.
Did you know that SECC’s research and education agendas originate at the annual Members Meeting? On both days of the event, SECC staff and our committee chairs will lead hour-long breakout sessions where members will discuss the topics most in need of consumer research and education for the coming year. By the end of the second session, we typically have drafts of the quarterly project agendas that will then be fine-tuned during the final committee meetings of the year. Don’t miss this opportunity to influence the consumer research and education materials we produce next year.
3. Gain research-backed insights into what today’s consumers need and want.
Finally, in addition to the networking opportunities and interactive sessions on 2026 projects, the two-day Members Meeting & Fall Workshop agenda is packed with educational content that will illuminate consumer needs and share strategies for improving customer engagement. This year, we are excited to have a keynote address from Aaron August, SVP, Chief Customer & Transformation Officer at Puget Sound Energy, and panel discussions on demand response, electrification, time-of-use rates and more. We will also be sharing SECC’s latest consumer research insights, including the forthcoming Snapshot Survey on solar+storage and the “Consumer Pulse and Market Segmentation – Wave 9” report (which includes deep dives into Gen Z, rural consumers and more).
This fall, be part of the conversations that will shape SECC’s direction for 2026 and beyond. From exclusive networking to impactful research discussions and a forward-thinking keynote address, the 2025 Members Meeting & Fall Workshop is your opportunity to connect with fellow members, contribute to our project agendas and be inspired by your peers. Make plans now to join us in at PSE in Bellevue, Washington – you won’t want to miss it.
