As we gear up for Smart Energy Exchange 2026 on November 2-4, we have three important ways for you to help influence the work we’ll be doing in 2027. Each of these initiatives plays a key role in shaping our research, our event programming and the stories we elevate across the industry.
1. Share Your Ideas for SECC’s 2027 Research Priorities – Friday, Sept. 25
Our annual research ideas survey is open, and we’re asking members to tell us which consumer-focused topics most need deeper insight next year. Your input will directly guide the reports and Snapshot Surveys we produce in 2027.
2. Submit a Presentation for the Flexible Energy Forum – Friday, Oct. 2
The Call for Presentations for the newly named Flexible Energy Forum at DTECH is now open. If you have a compelling project, collaboration or customer engagement success story to share, we encourage you to submit a proposal soon.
3. Nominate a Program for the Best Practices Awards – Tuesday, Nov. 10
We’re also accepting nominations for the 2027 Best Practices Awards, which recognize leadership from electricity providers in Consumer Engagement, Energy Equity and more. Winners will be announced at the Flexible Energy Forum.
Thank you for helping shape another strong year of member-driven insights and collaboration, and don’t forget to join us in Denver on November 2-4 where we’ll be working together to refine SECC’s 2027 research and education agendas.
