We’re excited to announce the publication of a new case study – “Transforming the Utility-Customer Ecosystem Through Digital Innovation” – which covers OPPD’s digital transformation to enhance and unify customer exprience and field operations.
OPPD partnered with SEW.AI to deploy the SmartCX – Customer Experience and SmartWX – Field Workforce Experience platforms, connected through SmartBX as the unified business intelligence backbone. This integrated digital ecosystem enabled customer interactions and field operations to continuously inform and respond to each other.
The resulting transition has had a profound impact on the digital customer experience, and 67% of residential customers have adopted the customer platform, demonstrating strong early adoption of the MyOPPD digital ecosystem for billing, outage reporting, service requests and account management.
SECC’s case study archive now features over 50 success stories from electricity providers across the United States and Canada, including Cobb EMC, NB Power, Consumers Energy, Duke Energy Florida, Evergy, Dominion Energy and more.
