We're excited to add to our consumer education series on heat pumps with the release of the “Cooling Consumer Concerns on Heat Pumps” infographic, which provides important information for consumers to consider during the process of purchasing a heat pump, such as calculating the right heat pump size and estimating the cost of installation.

This new infographic complements two existing resources in the Questions to Ask to Become a Smarter Energy Consumer series – a two-page fact sheet and a 60-second video – that addressed different aspects of the heat pump topic.

The YouTube video provides consumers with a quick overview on the basics of heat pumps, while the fact sheet prepares consumers to discuss heat pumps – including incentives and installation – with their electricity providers.
