The Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative (SECC) is excited to release the 2024 Annual Report – “Paving the Way to a Customer-Centric Future” – which summarizes the organization’s achievements in consumer research, education, events and more during the 2024 calendar year.
Last year, we produced two landmark research projects – “Understanding the SMB Landscape: New Needs and Concerns” and “Modern Energy Messaging: Transactions to Relationships” – in addition to the “2024 State of the Consumer” report.
We also continued the Smart Energy Snapshot Series with three short-form surveys – “Electric Vehicles: Exploring Consumers' Cost Concerns”, “Computing Consumer Interest in AI” and “Don’t Leave Us in the Dark: Engaging Spanish-Speaking Households”.
Within the Education & Outreach Committee, we continued our Questions to Ask to Become a Smart Energy Consumer series with resources on heat pumps, the energy bill, tips for renters and more. The committee also developed the annual paper based on the themes from the “2024 State of the Consumer” report.
Thank you to all of our members for making 2024 such a successful year for the organization – we look forward to our continued collaboration throughout 2025!
