White Paper
Download SECC’s “Understanding the Influence of Geography on Consumer Values” paper, the third and final publication in the Customer Insights Spotlight Series, which previously explored Gen Z and low-income consumers, respectively.
Utilizing the survey data from the “Consumer Pulse and Market Segmentation – Wave 9” report, this paper investigated the differences in the energy-related behaviors, values and interests of consumers in rural, suburban and urban areas.
According to the paper, American consumers tend to have more in common regardless of where they live; however, urban consumers are generally more likely to be interested in energy efficiency and more likely to engage with their electricity providers.
